CHUZALONGO (Ecuador) — LAFF Brisbane 2025 | Free screening

CHUZALONGO — Ecuador
Description
A gothic Andean fable inspired by local legend, Chuzalongo unfurls in the eerie beauty of the Ecuadorian highlands.
When disturbing events plague a remote hacienda, folklore and reality blur, stirring a creeping dread that touches
on family guilt, colonial echoes and the spirits that haunt the land. With its striking landscapes and slow-burn tension,
the film combines myth and suspense to offer a singular vision of Andean horror.
